Casall Ask and his sire Caretino have had a huge influence on Goldengroves  breeding roster. Stallions Cartell GNZ, Calgary GNZ and Candyman GNZ on our sire line, and Georgina GNZ and Santana GNZ are both by Casall Ask on our dam lines.  He has an impressive Performance record as a sire:

His damline is Stamm 890 and one of the most successful Holsteiner performance mare families.

Candyman GNZ has a pedigree packed full of the most  influential bloodlines. Lavall I, Caletto II, Cor de la Bryere, Corrado I, Corlando and Casall Ask. Referred by many as the Stallion of the Century, Casall Ask competed against his own 5* progeny.  On the 2014 WBFSH rankings, Casall was in 14th place, on the 2015 standings he had moved to 9th, and on the 2016 rankings, he moved into 4th, behind Diamant de Semilly, For Pleasure and Cornet Obolensky. Casall Ask had points from 52 international competitors – the most from the 2016 No 1 showjumper, Chesall Zimequest. Casall Ask has produced nine stallion sons in Holstein and also 3 daughters have won the Elmshorn Elite Mare Show in 2008, 2011 and 2013.

On Candyman GNZ's Dam line, the outstanding influence of Corrado I - who combines the blood of the two great Cs – Cor de la Bryère and Capitol, with a healthy dose of Thoroughbred on the dam line through Maestose xx and Frivol xx .  Corrado I was ridden by the Holsteiner Verband riders, Thiess Luther and Bo Kristoffersen on the young horse circuit, and was a finalist as a six-year-old at the Bundeschampionate in 1991. Campaigned by Frank Sloothaak's, the pair went on and won the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden in 1993,  were second in the Nations Cup at La Baule. In 1994, Corrado I also won the World Cup Qualifier at Dortmund and finished third in the Nations Cup at Aachen. He also won the German Championship that year. In 1996, he won the Danish World Cup Qualifier at Aarhus, and the Grand Prix of Neumünster and Kiel. In 1997, Franke and Corrado were third in the Hamburg Grand Prix and fourth in the Grand Prix of Göteborg.  Corlando, needs no introduction in New Zealand, with riders amassing wins and placings at top level in Dressage, Show Hunter and Show Jumping for several years. Most recently, Rose Alfeld on My Super Nova having had huge success this current  season, at Grand Prix and Premier League. Georgia Massie recently won the 4 year old title on Jay Z GNZ  at the Young Horse Show, Jay Z GNZ is by Clearway, out of Fleet Treat JNR (x Corlando).  Corlando's own dam (Lamona) is the producer of top performers across the disciplines, including an Australian national dressage champion Fleetentanze, and showjumpers Deutschlander and Landman.

Dam: Lily GNZ (x Corrado I) - Breeding  Candyman GNZ has been a long wait and analysis to achieve a stallion of his caliber suitable to stand at stud. Lily GNZ is the sister to Jay Z GNZ who recently won the 4 year old title at the Young Horse Show at Hastings 2017.
